Toyota Debuted the 2016 Avalon at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show earlier this year. Amongst the upgrades to the Avalon is a sportier look and updated equipment. The Avalon is one of the largest of the sedan lineup, evolving from previous model years, Toyota has taken on an edgier look for the new model year. It will be offered in five trim levels: XLE, XLE-Plus, XLE Premium, Limited and Touring. It will still come with a traditional V6 engine as well as hybrids.

What is new for the 2016 Avalon? Refined LED taillights, wider lower front grille with a narrower upper grille design, Chrome rear bumper accent, newly designed turn signals that will replace the fog lights, 17 inch redesigned alloy wheels, 7-inch Entune Audio Plus Screen, premium woodgrain dash ornamentation, Tire Specific Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and light gray interior with gray accent stitching.

There are also technology upgrades available on the 2016 Avalon. The Avalon XLE Premium Package comes with Entune Premium Audio with Navigation and App Suite as well as the Qi Wireless Charging as standard features. The Touring package offers 18 inch redesigned alloy wheels that are painted dark gray, new sporty front fascia, new LED headlights with daytime running lamps, and a “touring” badge.

The highest end Avalon Limited features 18 inch alloy wheels, super chrome wheels on the gas models, 17 inch wheels alloy super chrome wheels on the hybrid, and advanced safety features such as the automatic high beam headlamps, dynamic radar cruise control, pre-collision system, and lane departure alert. New suspension tunings have also been added to the 2016 Avalon.

The 2016 Toyota Avalon is in its fourth generation and will go onsale in the fall. More standard equipment can be expected on lower model Avalons, which will include plenty of comfort and safety features, as well as the latest technology. Avalon will offer its drivers a dynamic driving experience combined with a plush ride for the best in Toyota driving experience.
