The Mitsubishi team is calling this new EV SUV the Engelberg Tourer and it is set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The idea is to build an EV SUV that will bring more technology and style to the brand. Right now, the success of Mitsubishi is found in the SUV models that are built and this new vehicle could be the one that continues that tradition. The concept of this SUV is expected to be similar to other recent crossover EV concept models we’ve seen from this brand.

A New Thought for an Electric SUV

The SUV market has grown by huge numbers over the past several years and there are now more electric models offered in this class than what we’ve seen. The name of this new vehicle concept comes from a small rugged Alpine town in Switzerland with a history of sporting success. While there’s not a lot of automotive history in this town, it does have some rally and off-roading heritage to give you the idea of the fun and active lifestyle that Mitsubishi is aiming for with this new SUV.
