Get Kids to School Faster in the Jaguar XE SV Project 8

When you buy a sedan the thought you might have in mind is that you need to carry your kids, coworkers, or friends with you and you want four doors for the comfort that’s offered in a car that’s built to have more passengers. It’s not often that you think of a sedan for its performance on a track, but if you have one that has the fastest model in the market, such as the Jaguar XE SV Project 8, you will be able to get the kids to school quicker than before, you’ll just need to get everyone else out of the way.

The Jaguar team recently set a record at Nurburgring in a sedan that has been built to be one of the fastest on the market. This is a car that certainly was built to drive fast and make its way around the corners and on the turns in an admirable way. This new car that made the run is the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 that recorded a time of 7:21.23 which is a record for a sedan. The only caveat to this is the fact that this is a car that Jaguar plans to put into production but hasn’t actually released for production just yet.

Details About this Fast Sedan

The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 is absolutely the most extreme road-legal Jaguar ever built and it shows up with a strong 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine under the hood. This incredible engine makes 592 horsepower to make it a powerful and impressive model to drive on the road. Imagine taking this car out for a daily drive and what you would want to do when you see an empty straightaway in front of you that you can scream down and experience the ride you want.

There will be 300 units of the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 that will be built and the deliveries to the US will begin sometime next year. The video below offers you a look at the fast lap that was set at the most famous track in the world. It becomes evident as you’re watching this video that the team was focused on creating the most track-oriented Jaguar sedan in the history of the brand, which is certainly a goal that was a challenge to achieve considering the history of this highly touted brand and what it has brought for us to enjoy.

The goal wasn’t just to add power to make sure this car could rip off the straight line speed desired, but to also offer the handling needed that would make it the most agile as well. This car was built with only the roof and front door skins being the same as what’s found on the typical XE body. In addition to a mostly new body, nearly 75 percent of the mechanical hardware is also new to this model, making it possible for this car to achieve the success the Jaguar team aimed for when they built this amazing car.
