Large Luxury: Jeep Grand Wagoneer vs. Lincoln Navigator

Large Luxury Jeep Grand Wagoneer vs. Lincoln Navigator

Finding an SUV for a large family is a big decision. There are plenty of options out there, but how do you know which one will fit your family the best when you have such great options such as the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and the Lincoln Navigator to choose from? You can start by heading to your Jeep dealer and checking out the Grand Wagoneer.

A Battle of the Six Cylinders

Both the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and the Lincoln Navigator get power from six cylinders. Under the hood of the Grand Wagoneer is a 3.0-liter six-cylinder with 510 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. The Navigator gets a turbo V-6 that puts out 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.
While the horsepower numbers are similar, the Grand Wagoneer surges ahead when it comes to towing power. It can pull up to 9,860 pounds, while the Navigator maxes out at 8,300 pounds.

Size and Cabin Capacity

The Grand Wagoneer is longer than most other three-row luxury SUVs. There’s seating for up to seven or eight people, but the big difference is the amount of space in the third row. Even adult-size passengers will feel like they have plenty of room to spread out back there. Behind the third row you’ll find 27.4 cubic feet of storage space.
The Navigator has three rows of seats and can fit up to eight people and a spacious third row, too. You can’t bring as much gear with you in the Navigator if you have people in all three rows. Its cargo area behind all the seats is only 19.3 cubic feet.

Luxury Riding for Everyone

Both the Grand Wagoneer and the Navigator go full tilt when it comes to their high-end luxury features. The Series III for the Grand Wagoneer has premium leather upholstery, ventilated seats for everyone, and a cooling box in the front console to keep your drinks cold.
The Navigator Black Label bring the most luxury features. It has 30-way adjustable front seats that feel like they were sculpted just for you. The second row has captain’s chairs with heated, ventilation, and a massaging function, so it’s not just the front seat passengers who get all the extra comfort.

An Abundance of Technology

You’ll have more tech features in the Grand Wagoneer than many people have in their homes. The tech in this SUV is something you have to see when you go to your Jeep dealer. A 12-inch touchscreen houses the infotainment system. It comes loaded with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, integrated navigation, and a 19-speaker stereo. Wireless charging helps keep your phone at a full charge, and if you want extra sound quality, the 23-speaker stereo delivers.
The Navigator also has impressive tech. A 13.2-inch touchscreen sits in the dashboard housing navigation, satellite radio, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Your favorite music will sound loud and clear over the 14-speaker stereo, and when you need to connect to the internet, the Wi-Fi hotspot makes it easy no matter where you are.
