The Toyota Prius is often considered one of the greatest inventions on the automotive market. This car is the hybrid of all hybrids and has led the way for more interesting inventions to come about and a wide range of uses for hybrid vehicles. This car is one of the most efficient and offers you the chance to have a drive in a vehicle that uses less gas and makes it easier for you to be environmentally friendly because of the low emissions and great ride this car gives you. Because this car is so admired for its efficiency, why on Earth would it be something that litters the world?

It’s not really the Prius that’s littering the world, it’s the trio of cheeky bastards that are now part of Amazon Prime and have a new show that starts on November 18. This trio is Clarkson, Hammond and May and their new show, The Grand Tour, is a bit of the same as Top Gear but with a completely different spin. During this show these British chaps are hell bent on showing us the world and letting us enjoy the vehicles from different countries, all while littering the world with Priuses.

For some reason this trio hates the Prius. They feel like this is a car that is better suited to be adorned as part of a sculpture or artistic display, in which the car has been crashed, is standing on end or has been demolished in some manner. This trio has never made any hesitation about what they think of the Prius and that opinion is simply that they think this car is the antithesis of the enthusiasm they are working to promote with their show. For this reason, they have in fact chosen to crash and destroy as many Prius models as possible.

During their last show, Top Gear, they were never shown destroying the Prius, possibly because it’s still a considerable price and would be an expensive item to just crush or mutilate. Amazon has apparently given this trio the opportunity to live their dream and turn as many Prius models as possible in destroyed artwork around the globe. This seems to be a great way for the company to promote this new show and give us something fun to talk about in the process. There may even be running bets as to how many Prius models they will mutilate before they’re done.

This new show, The Grand Tour should be a huge hit for us to witness and as you can see from this video the crashed Prius that’s sticking out of the sidewalk is gathering a lot of attention. Many may wonder if the driver survived or how the car could get stuck like that, but the reality is the three blokes who took the time to do this were simply the same guys who will entertain us with new and glorious vehicle adventures on Amazon Prime.
