It’s coming… to Indonesia. American Mitsubishi fans need not worry, though, as it will likely make it’s way stateside. What is it? It’s a new compact MPV, taking the popular 7-seater and making it fit in more parking spots.

It may or may not be based upon the Mitsubishi Concept AR that was unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Not much else is known about it other than that Mitsubishi dealers are excited about the idea that it could be available in less than two years.

According to NDTV:

The company says that since the vehicle is in its early development phase, it will go on sale only by August 2017. Since the vehicle is designed for the Indonesian market, where petrol cars are more popular than diesel, it should get a 1.5-litre petrol engine only. And if it comes to India, the company will have to develop or source a small diesel engine.
