More of What We Want from Hyundai

Hyundai Kona

The team at Hyundai is working hard to capitalize on the market of vehicles that we currently buy in the largest volume. This shouldn’t come as any surprise as we already know about the upcoming Kona SUV that’s considered to be small enough to be called a CUV and begin the movement toward the entry-level segment of models that we want to drive. The Kona is actually just the beginning and we may see more models offered from this brand and shown off at every automotive show for the next couple of years.

The plan from Hyundai doesn’t leave us to think they are only going to focus on going smaller. The plan is to offer us eight new or re-engineered models between now and the 2020 model year to give us more of what we want for the drive. This will include more entry-level models on up to three-row SUV that are powered by a variety of different systems. We should see an electric SUV, a hydrogen fuel cell model, and a diesel-powered model to simply name a few of them. This team is ready to give us what we’re looking for with some impressive new SUVs.

What Does this Change Mean?

Once these eight new models make their way to the market, Hyundai will have the most diverse lineup of SUV models ranging from the Kona to the Santa Fe Sport to make sure there is at least one SUV offered for every driving need. Right now the team of more than 13,000 engineers is working on the solutions that will be necessary to make sure the vehicles we want to drive in the future will be offered to have the drive desired and the exceptional offering needed. This should make you excited to see what shows up at the next automotive show at the Hyundai booth.
We can expect to see some impressive concept models offered at the variety of auto shows going forward and certainly will see the beginning of this transformation with the Kona to give us the chance to see what’s coming from the team at Hyundai. With the news of so many new and upgraded models from this team, we can certainly be excited by what Hyundai will be for the future and how they plan to continue to capitalize on that segment of the market that we currently buy more than any other.

Are you looking for a new SUV or plan to buy one in the next few years? If so, the Hyundai brand is where you’re going to find a variety of models that can be right for you to have the drive you’re looking for and enjoy an impressive new model that could be powered the way you want. Moving toward electric, hydrogen, and diesel to be added to the gasoline lineup offered, it seems that Hyundai is poised to have what you want and offer a variety of sizes and styles to give you the SUV that you’ll be looking for over the next couple of years.
