Any major move like the one that Toyota is currently performing will always bring tensions amongst employees. Some are bitter about the move. Others are excited. Some are certain of where they’re going to be in a couple of years, while others are not sure where they’ll be working tomorrow. To make things work more smoothly as the automaker moves their North American operations from California to Texas, Toyota is being generous with dishing out money to those who play ball.
According to Automotive News:
Those who agree to stay on until their departments move “will be provided with a generous retention package that will recognize and reward the value of their much-needed talents through our years-long transition,” Toyota spokesman Steven Curtis wrote in an email.
